Особенности древнерусских инфинитивных сочетаний с глаголом начати

The article deals with the Old Russian verb начати (почати) in infinitival constructions; it describes how the verb combines with various infinitives and compares this usage with Modern Russian. It also analyses the formation of new relationships between начати and коньчати, which has led to their realization as antonyms in the modern language.
