The syntagmatics of a word as an indicator of an axiological shift and the value of a concept (using the adjective informatsionnyj as an example)

Abstract:

The word informatsionnyj is chosen as the object of analysis, which is associated, like the underlying word, with the key concept in the axiosphere of the digital society – "information". Based on observations of the compatibility of the adjective in the National Corpus of the Russian Language, conclusions are drawn about qualitative and quantitative changes in the syntagmatics of this word and its extreme combinatorial activity. The main metaphorical models that involve a word in media speech are highlighted and described, taking into account dynamics and frequency. The expansion of the range of combinability of the adjective informatsionnyj, its high frequency, the presence of several abbreviated variants (info-, inform-) indicate rise of the status of information in modern public discourse.
